EFactor presents: 7 Steps to a Successful Startup

EFactor presents: 7 Steps to a Successful Startup

Starting your own business is an exhilarating yet overwhelming experience. Entrepreneurs don't like to write a business plan. But how does one know that there is real potential for their idea. Are there certain paths that should or shouldn't be taken? What should I do and what should I avoid?

Short and to the point, this talk offers practical and powerful questions that all entrepreneurs must consider. If they can answer these questions it will fundamentally improve their chances to succeed in any startup.

Naeem Zafar, a serial entrepreneur and Haas School of Business at Berkeley professor, will be discussing these questions in depth and give tangible examples of why they are so crucial for an entrepreneur to consider.

Recap

Are you an entrepreneur?  You are if you're comfortable making decisions in a fog where only half the needed data may be known.  Naeem discussed developing mental clarity on your venture before you quit your day job.  This startup due diligence ensures you've done your homework.  It enables you to conduct research and marketing to identify true market pain and needs and find your core customers at no or little cost.

Author, serial entrepreneur, and Haas School of Business at Berkeley professor Naeem Zafar presented 7 Steps to a Successful Startup in Dallas Thursday August 4. North Texas greeted him with searing 110 degree weather.  But inside it was cool at Hotel ZaZa where 30 entrepreneurs braved the heat for the seminar.  The interactive session featured lots of tips, questions, and stories from Naeem's vast expertise with several books and startups.
