SURINAME IS BOOMING

Since the Independence on November 25th in 1975, Suriname had a hard time in exploiting its resources. There were only a few multinarionals such as ALCOA and BILLITON in the mining industry.

Nowadays things have changed. The country is developing new industries. Amongst others the most important industries that can be mentioned are: oil industry, bio energy, agriculture, clean tech, ICT, off sohoring and outsourcing.

The number of people that are travelling to Suriname is increasing. Not only for holidays, but also business trips are interesting. Some ar just ghoing for orientation. Others are looking for business
