Biography/Misc
I love executing big ideas and working with brilliant people! I currently am the economics and markets blogger for EFactor - if you read my daily posts, then say hi! (always love the feedback). I have an MA in economics from the University of St Andrews and have been trading the markets for over 6 years now. Nevertheless, forever learning from the good, the bad and the ugly trading days. Of course, that is not my day job. I actually run a digital marketing, technology and design firm nowadays. Having a very mixed background of finance and creative work, means I can draw on both when it comes to thinking up ideas and working out successful strategies. You'll be surprised what a touch of behavourial economics can add to a creative idea (Yes I said that!). I am always keen to do as much as possible and to dream up concepts that people will talk about - whether that be in roles as varied as working at PricewaterhouseCoopers, running Chimpanzee Creative or most recently, as Head of Content & Commissioning at bragster.com - working with clients such as BBC Three, Cadburys, Lionsgate Films and Tango. My favourite idea was one that hit me while on a boring tube journey and although it took a lot of convincing to get it going, it worked and received publicity in over 10 different countries. http://tinyurl.com/5zdsha When not thinking for clients, I enjoy trading the markets, performing stand-up comedy, painting and generally drinking lots of tea. You can get in touch with me by emailing darshan [at] thehouselondon [dot] com or follow me on Twitter @chiefchimpanzee
