Biography

With over 25 years in technology marketing and PR, Fiona Brewer is a very experienced PR and marketing professional, having worked both in-house and at an agency, working for both private and public sector organisations on a national and international scale, in B2B and B2C markets.

Prior to joining MCC International 1989, Fiona was a copywriter and marketing manager for a number of software and hardware technology companies including Xitan Ltd (software distributor), Graphic Displays Ltd (hardware distributor) and The Software Marketing Network (marketing services for technology VARs) where she has in charge of all marketing and PR activities managing external agencies.

During her time at MCC International, working as an account manager, account director and latterly as agency director, Fiona has created and directed a number of UK and International marketing and PR campaigns for a very diverse range of technology, science and professional service clients. These include Kaspersky Lab (award-winning security), Fibercore (fiber optic cabling), TDSi (access control and security solutions), Multitone (pager and emergency comms), The NanoKTN (UK nanotechnology KTN), Collaborate2Innovate 2010 and 2011, Prosurgics (surgical robots), ramsac (IT Outsourcing), De La Rue (world experts in cash management), Exosect (green pest control), Sensa (fibre optic sensing), XcelleNet (remote and mobile software), Talaris (cash handling solutions), McAfee (anti-virus software), Sterling Commerce (business process software) Software AG (XML software), DivX (digital video software), Maxtor (hard drives), BroadJump (broadband software), Banyan Systems, Shiva Europe, StrataCom, Spider Systems and Cabletron (all networking hardware and software).

Fiona holds a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences and studied for a post-grad business diploma from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
