Event Recap

"Gamification and Social Media" event in San Francisco was filled with insightful information, accomplished speakers, and more than 60 great entrepreneurs.  We are always very excited to see many returning members and, of course, welcome all the new ones. The evening was very educational and engaging, generating extremely positive feedback.

With all EFactor events, we strive to educate our members about the most relevant topics around entrepreneurship, and Gamification is definitely one of them! Incorporating gamification techniques is essential for business owners looking to create greater engagement, interaction, and loyalty with their customers.

Throughout the evening, the attendees were able to learn essential Gamification elements, from the industry’s leading experts: Roger Dickey, Annie Chang, and Damon Grow. It was very difficult to stop the panel discussion, as the attendees had tremendous amount of questions. The speakers really took the time to recommend gamification strategies to the attendees, that will help them grow their businesses.  Roger even gave out a great business idea to the attendees.

We look forward to seeing many of the attendees during our next SF event on Dec., 6th“Are You Fit to be an Entrepreneur? “

EFactor Presents: Gaming and Social Media

Elizabeth Shaw once wrote on Mashable.com “Adding a few visual game elements to a brand’s site in order to “gamify” a marketing strategy and increase engagement just isn’t enough. To be done right, gamification must take a behavior-focused approach.  For instance, by offering rewards for user actions, consumers are more likely to engage with a brand — that is, visit the site more often, register, linger and invite friends. But while gamification is a major buzzword among interactive marketers today, game use isn’t new.”

In this EFactor event, we’ve invited an incredible lineup of panelists and speakers to take you inside the world of gaming and social media.  What are some ways you can learn to:

  1. Entertain your consumers in new and creative ways
  2. Utilize social media to enhance the fact that your consumers are always looking for ways to entertain themselves!
  3. Easily iterate gamification strategy to your market
  4. Follow the path of early starters.  You will learn to focus on these keys: involvement, interaction, intimacy, and influence.

Register for this event today.  Network with gamers, developers and other entrepreneurs who are also learning to create compelling content  to keep users engaged and entertained!
