Biography:
M.I.T. Electrical Engineering (1992). Harvard Law School (1995). Began practicing high-technology and venture capital law in Silicon Valley in 1995. Served in the U.S. Air Force, including two years as an active duty Captain and Stanford Visting Scholar on a research project at Stanford University regarding the law, technology and policy relevant to critical infrastructure protection (telephone, Internet and power grid systems). Before starting legal practice: Worked at Motorola in corporate strategy and finance (Summers 1991 and 1992) and at 3M in semiconductor and polymer optics research (Summers 1989 and 1990).
