Here’s how it works:
Come to the event with an idea and/or an open mind.
If you have an idea, you’re going to want to share it with this group. Before the event, you can connect with fellow attendees on their EFactor member profiles so your team has a head start. Or if you’re great at developing ideas, you can contribute your suggestions.
At the event you will elevator pitch your idea. Include who your idea is for and what problem you are addressing with it.
After that, attendees have 15 min to ask clarifying questions.
Participants then choose which team they will join.
Teams have an hour to plan out the idea and validate their assumptions. Get out of the building and talk to people!
Each team then presents their findings: 3-min time limit per team.
Finally, the panel picks a winner!
Do I need an idea to attend?:
No: it is actually encouraged to use the time to work on someone else's idea.
How do I validate my idea?
Find at least 5 of the individuals whose ideas you like, share your idea with them too, and you can each share solutions for making each other's ideas a reality
What shall the presentation include?
Findings of your research.
Solution proposals, mockups on screen or on paper.

“Honest collaboration in a constructive and open environment. This event was very interactive and allowed for a deeper connection to be made and ideas to be developed more fully.” - Joey B
IdeaSlam was off the hook. We recognized the need to shake things up a bit, so we’ve created a new events program that’s more engaging and interactive. As the #Entrepreneurs #Wingman, we want to provide you with the right conversations, connections and resources to launch and grow your business.
Take the experience of first time attendee Semeena Ashraf, who moved to San Francisco three weeks ago, attended the event and walked away with new friends, and a business partner. Not to mention our three tech-savvy Glass owners that came with revolutionary ideas and with the help of others, expanded on them and presented a go to market strategy.
After a successful first event, we’re ramping up for an exciting year full of changes.
See you soon!
