TIPPING POINT
TIPPING POINT
We live in an unique time, a time in which old values no longer hold true. Whether I watch television or read the newspaper or listen to the radio - in my mind's eye is see large lettering, saying "TIPPING POINT". I am convinced, that when we look back at the years 2008/2009 later on - it will have been a turning point in our society. Everything that was once well established and solid is up for a revamp - the values we lived by just over a year ago no longer count.
In prior recessions you often heard "Oh, we'll do it differently once this is over" but it always was forgotten quickly once the period had passed and things were looking up again. This time round though, we are dealing with a dramatic change in the way we interact and do business. People (finally) realise that this is not the right path to be on, that we need to look at other values then personal enrichment. That we need to take care of our natural resources, spread wealth across the entire world population and find a balance in political power. Everyone is involved in this process - from you as an individual to the governments and the largest organisations. Everyone will play a role. Companies like General Motors, Ford, Shell, ExxonMobile will pass and in some cases cease to exist altogether.
I also see a younger generation, who has arisen. This generation is much more innovative, and isn't scared to throw out old values that no longer work and come up with new ideas using new media and technology in a way we just couldn't have conceived a few years ago. They are no longer hindered by the old economy either. They are prepared to tackle the world's problems such as energy, distribution of food, power and knowledge in a new creative way .
I am convinced that the younger entrepreneur and employee will play an important role in the transition to this new era now that the old style economy has unceremoniously come to the end of it's lifecycle. Humiliation can be very painful, but is an absolute necessity. This is a time where you should not be watching from the sidelines, but where you should be readying yourself to join and jump in.

Old was gold and now in shambles because of greed. The conglomerates expanding globally and washing away small companies into the ocean of history. the top core eating away investments of the so called middle class into their own coffers by way of million dollar bonuses and the new wave from banking industry to make fast money investing peoples money into dark places of no return. So who created the boom into doomsday? Of course these are the people who played with and freely smoldered your and my savings while global governments stood behind the walls of silence and dreamt of collecting taxes from insolvent corporations.
The only way out for me is be patient and let me seriously look into where I went wrong.
