I have attended many networking events in my time, but the E.Factor approach with the Keynotes and a further discussion amongst members is more then just networking (I was v. pleased to see!). During these discussions, you can quickly scan whom you'd like to network with and that makes the networking itself much more valuable. To be honest, it is easy to collect heaps of cards, but that is not what it is all about for me. I have had numerous great conversations and look forward to a long-term relationship wth E.Factor!

Beyond Boundaries - Building Your International Reputation
Celebrating the Creative Spirit of Berlin Design
Welcoming the E.Factor to Berlin!
For E.Factor's first event in Berlin, we will be looking at what it takes to forge a reputation for your skills and product around the world. We're not talking about world-straddling brand ubiquity or becoming the next superstar celebrity designer here; just what it means to reach and work with clients, customers and partners beyond your immediate location.
How can they hear about you?
What does managing your reputation mean when media exposure talks in languages you will never know?
Berlin is rightly famous for its creativity, so how can we continue to foster inspiration locally while establishing global reach and finding the people – whether clients or collaborators - that matter.

Venue: MÜNZSALON
Münzstraße 23
10178 Berlin

Before he started his own consultancy with his friends, he was managing director and partner of IDEO Germany. His path into innovation was not always straight. His background includes being an administrative official for the German government, a paramedic for the German Red Cross, a sales director for a large music chain, positions in Hotel Management in Europe and Asia, a training analyst for an IT-service provider as well as a manager of a call center for specialized IT components. At his last stop before diving deep into the topic of innovation with IDEO, he founded and managed a high-tech start-up that developed speech recognition applications.
Alexander is frequently asked to speak about the process of innovation and design thinking at conferences and events across Europe. And if he’s not talking innovation he loves three things: jazz, cars and hotels.
