If there’s one word that can sum up the most important trait for job hunters, entrepreneurs and professionals to possess today, it’s undoubtedly “networking.” Everyone, from college students to freelancers to business owners and beyond are being told they need to network if they want to realize their own success, and at our San Francisco presentation of “Networking Ninja” on Thursday March 21 at EFactor Headquarters, attendees learned what “networking” really means, how the best networkers you know got so good and how to begin fostering your own meaningful connections.
First to speak at the event was Phil Dillard
, a seasoned entrepreneur who considers it his mission to help people and organization grow their highest potential. He shared how his skills in relationship development and execution can help foster strong networks and enhance existing connections.
Following Dillard was Shannon McElyea
, a business consultant for Zingaya, Inc., a company that provides instant click/call video from any web device to maximize customer service quality. McElyea is also a co-founder of XCorpSystems, a global information technology and knowledge process outsourcing organization.
This extremely informative event induced such colorful conversation between presenters and guests that it ran overtime, and attendees left with notebooks full of networking tips, personal anecdotes from our veteran speakers and a newfound passion for forming dynamic relationships in business and elsewhere in their lives.
